With the way 2020 has unfolded for us all, good news stories are even more satisfying to come by. As we all look to put the world of largely doom and gloom that is 2020 behind us, Crown Highways is ending the year with some good news and looking to 2021 with huge optimism.
Introducing Mike Leadbetter
One of the company’s long-term employees, Mike Leadbetter, has now been appointed to the role of Operations Director. With he change in role, Mike now becomes responsible for the company’s entire operations across the UK.
Up until this appointment, Mike held the role of Technology Operations Manager, a position he held since 2017.
Mike started his tenure with Crown Highways 4 years ago, and during his career with the company so far, has successfully led the Technology division, enhanced the loop department and grown the highways technology arm substantially with both existing and new clients.
New beginnings…
Now, Mike’s Operations Director role will bring the company’s Civils, Lighting and Technology divisions together as Crown looks to build on its ISO44001 collaborative working approach to make the company even stronger into 2021. With one eye on the future, Mike will also be involved in developing new business areas and tendering future contracts.

After glowing words from the MD, Mike Leadbetter himself commented on his new position and what it means to him:
