Fifty supply chain partners have been named on National Highways £3.6bn framework to carry out renewals on England’s motorway and trunk road network.
Crown Highways submitted their tender bid back in March and are proud to have been awarded multiple SDF contracts when the results were published on 16 September 2021.
Awarded works across 8 different National Highways areas, the Scheme Delivery Framework sees Crown entering into 6-year framework agreements for Road Lighting & Electrical and Technology works (including Traffic Signals) commencing between January 2022 and April 2024.
The SDF award allows Crown Highways to further develop their direct relationship with National Highways, both in Areas where they currently work and in new regions. This award supports the Crown Highways business growth strategy and broadens their existing client reach.
Steve Jones, Chairman commented on Crown Highways’ success saying: “We are delighted with the outcome of the SDF bid. Being awarded 8 contracts with National Highways gives us the perfect platform for continued growth in targeted areas of the country. I am very proud of what we do and as a team we are looking forward to making a continued impact on the road network.”
Steph Smith, Business Manager added: “The team at Crown are very excited for the opportunities that the SDF contract award will bring to our business. We are very much looking forward to engaging with new National Highways teams and other SDF delivery partners to meet the National Highways imperatives. We are committed to bringing our innovation and technical expertise to the table in a collaborative and inclusive manner to ensure that we all deliver the RIS2 programme in a safe, customer facing and lean way.”
