Crown Highways continues to invest in efficiency and quality with the purchase of three new floor saws. The 3 saws replace some of the company’s older models and will be used by their national inductive loop cutting team.
Crown Highways has been a leader in loop cutting in the UK since 1994 and has seen them cut over 26,000 loops in that period.
The three new saws are all made by top quality company HUSQVARNA, and can fit a maximum 900mm blade spinning at 3000rpm, maximum cutting depth of 411mm, 75bhp Diesel engine which has a dpf filter to comply with new emission regulations.
The saws can be used for up to 8 hours at a time and they are designed to make Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) levels low, meaning the benefit to the Crown loop cutting team is obvious. The best quality tools only add to both employee safety, and job satisfaction.
Further demonstrating company excellence along with the new saws, eyes have been turned to health and safety benefits as Crown Highways has developed these new saws within an inbuilt transporting system which has been specified to help manoeuvrability of the saws on site to eliminate manual handling injuries.
Mike Dale, Crown Highways MD said:
“As we are continually looking to improve, we know that new, updated, top quality equipment is an absolute must. The benefits to both the company carrying out our services, and our employees having a better day to day experience at work are obvious.
“Top quality equipment means greater efficiency, less breakdowns and more satisfied clients. Additionally, the loop team are happier doing their jobs with better tools, have the knowledge that their welfare and safety is always in our mind with investment in high-quality equipment and safety systems in place for their benefit.”
