Crown Highways have been appointed on 2-year contracts to both the Coventry city, and Coventry county council list of preferred sub-contractors, as well as on both the Leicester city and council highways based civil engineering minor framework.
After completing a successful PQQ Qualification process, beating off competition from many other contractors Crown have secured their place on another two local authority frameworks.
The frameworks are to assist the respective Coventry and Leicester councils in delivering their Highways based Civil Engineering minor works schemes, and Crown’s range of skills and solutions make them the perfect fit.
The works to be carried out by Crown include routine civils maintenance and emergency repairs work. Additionally, drainage, kerbs, signage (including associated electrical items) and surfacing all.
Two prestigious selections for Crown Highways and these appointments will allow them to showcase their skills and capabilities to another two important Local Authorities, hopefully expanding on the type of works they have been employed by Coventry to carry out thus far.
Crown General Manager Mike Dale told us:
“We’re immensely proud of these 2 appointments as the competition was fierce on both fronts. To come away successful and recognised as the right company for these LA’s cements the whole ethos of Crown Highways being able to deliver quality schemes, on time and on budget in a safe and competent manner.
We value very highly the fact that we have been awarded a place on another Local Authority framework.”
