Beginning in 1991, Crown Cutting Services formed with just one solitary cutting crew. By 1995, the workforce had trebled as 3 crews were taking to our highways. The proud growth continued into 1997 when Crown Cutting Services had 5 working crews out on the UK’s roads.
In 2005, they proved themselves to be the best in the business by producing a best practice DVD for MIDAS loop installation for the Highways Agency- now known as Highways England. By 2012, with 8 crews on our network Crown were providing the complete package of loop detection services- something that they’re extremely proud of continuing to this day.
“Crown Highways have been cutting loops in Area 3 since 2008 and in the last 12 months they have cut over 500 sets of loops as part of our Highways England scheme delivery programme.
