News / Crown Highways Celebrates 15 Years of Sponsorship with Chasetown FC

Saturday 9th August 2025 marks a special milestone for Crown Highways, as the company proudly celebrates 15 years of sponsorship with Chasetown Football Club – a partnership that has become a cornerstone of both community spirit and local pride.

Since first teaming up in 2010, the relationship between Crown Highways and Chasetown FC has gone from strength to strength. What began as a local sponsorship has evolved into a long-standing bond built on shared values, mutual respect, and a deep passion for supporting grassroots football.

The connection between the two organisations runs far deeper than logos on shirts or signage around the Scholars Ground. Steve Jones , Chairman of Crown Highways, also serves as Chairman of Chasetown FC, a role that perfectly embodies the bond between the company and the club.

Meanwhile, Richard Lamb, Crown’s Procurement Manager, gives his time as Chasetown’s Chief Executive Officer, ensuring the club continues to thrive both on and off the pitch.

The ties don’t stop there. Crown’s very own Transport Manager, Jack Langston, and Trainee Buyer, Curtis Pond, proudly represent the Scholars on the pitch as members of the first team, bringing the partnership full circle as colleagues, players, and ambassadors for both Crown Highways and Chasetown FC.

As the Scholars embark on another exciting campaign in the Northern Premier League West Division, everyone at Crown Highways is standing firmly behind them, wishing the team the very best of luck for the season ahead.

Beyond the first team, Crown Highways’ commitment to supporting football at every level has continued to flourish.

The company sponsors all junior boys and girls teams at Chasetown FC, ensuring more than 100 young footballers benefit from Crown’s community outreach efforts. Over the past decade and a half, this investment has helped provide kits, equipment, and opportunities for young players to develop their skills in a positive, inclusive environment.

Dual Chairman Steve Jones said:

“To celebrate 15 years of supporting Chasetown FC is something we’re incredibly proud of. This club is at the heart of the community, and seeing how far it’s come – both at senior and junior levels – is a real testament to the dedication of everyone involved. All at Crown will be cheering the Scholars on every step of the way this season.”

From the pitch to the stands, and from first team to the juniors, Crown Highways’ partnership with Chasetown FC continues to stand the test of time.
