Crown Highways have continued to invest and support into their local community in the West Midlands by extending their sponsorship of Chasetown FC to a ninth year, as well as providing new dugouts at The Scholars Ground in time for the 2019/20 season.

Chief Executive Mick Joiner and Steve Jones, owner of club sponsor Crown Highways did the honours of cutting the blue ribbon to unveil the new dugouts.

These new dugouts will enhance the matchday experience for both sets of players in their campaign in the Bet Victor Northern Premier League.

It’s a far cry from the original brick dugouts that were built when the Scholars Ground began life in 1985. These were replaced in 2005 and now in 2019, have been improved further again.

Sponsorship

On top of the new dugouts, Crown Highways have once again renewed their sponsorship to be the main club sponsor, which includes providing the First team with both Home and Away kits, Players match day wear and main stand advertising.

To further the clubs progress, Crown Highways also holds an annual Chasetown Football Club golf day. This year the event was attended by 92 golfers and raised £3,500 for the club.

“It’s great to be able to support our local football club as part of our community strategy. Our sponsorships provide local players with a better matchday experience, and we also look to give young local players something to aspire to.

“Additionally, assisting with the facilities means local youngsters want to be a part of Chasetown FC long term, which is good for both the local club, as well as the youngsters themselves staying in community projects, sport and exercise.”
